Council Members and Staff
Council members are representatives from local governments (counties and municipalities) and ex-officio members appointed by Florida's Governor. Members and elected officers are regularly rotated to maintain representational balance throughout the Region. Council staff is comprised of an Executive Director and a professional planning staff which assists Council and local governments in the review, development, and implementation of community planning initiatives.

The Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council has developed a business continuity web site as well as a new element to the Council's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Plan that will address small business disaster preparedness and hazard mitigation. The purpose of this web site is to provide a management tool for businesses to become more disaster-resistant and assist in recovering more rapidly from the effects of a disaster event.
